  QA Engineer

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience at least 2-3 years in a QA Analyst or Tester role.

• Ensure all SDLC requirements defined in the QA Testing Life cycle are adhered and followed in all phases of the SDLC.

• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience writing SQL queries

• Experience in Functional , Performance, and Regression testing

• Ability to acquire technical and professional knowledge quickly

• Strong Analytical skills

• Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks

• Experience with Web UX/UI testing

• Experience with bug tracking tools such as JIRA

• Strong teamwork and interdepartmental communication skills

• Exposure to Selenium or another automation tool is a plus

  QA Engineer 

 

We are seeking several Software Testers, ranging from junior to senior level of experience, to join our project team supporting the U.S. Food & Drug Administration SIRCE Program that builds and operates mission critical enterprise grade software systems. The positions are contingent upon contract award which is expected in April or May 2020.

Responsibilities include:

• Analyze functional and system specifications

• Participate in requirements gathering throughout the project lifecycle

• Develop and document test cases and test data

• Maintain requirements traceability

• Participate in the creation of system and release test plans

• Execute test plans and test cases for Functional, System, Regression, Performance, Load, Data Quality, and Section 508 Compliance testing

• Establish and maintain test data

• Develop automation test frameworks

• Assist the development team in debugging and reproducing reported issues

• Record, track and report on defects and their resolution

• Effectively balance work on multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Participate in Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, Scrum Meetings and other agile activities

• Analyze datasets to identify quality issues

• Support UAT activities

• Deliver quality assurance reports and metrics

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the QA team’s standard practices and procedures

Required Skills:

• 2 + years of experience performing software testing

• Ability to write comprehensive test documentation such as test cases, test scripts, test reports, and defect reports

• Experience using SQL to test data quality and integrity

• Must be able to multi-task and excel in a fast-paced, on-time deliverable environment

• Strong analytical skill and mindset, with research, problem solving, and troubleshooting abilities

• Ability to analyze/interpret test results and provide recommendations to improve testing
